Masoud Ghadirian, an Iranian heavyweight bodybuilding champion, was born on October 24, 1990, in Aran va Bidgol, Isfahan Province.

He has been a bodybuilding instructor, either in-person or online, since 2008, when he won his first bodybuilding championship.

Masoud Ghadirian’s Professional career

• Masoud Ghadirian Arani began his professional athletic career at the age of 14 when he joined Zobahan Football Club.
• When he was 16 years old and weighed about 66 kg, his uncle encouraged him to begin bodybuilding exercises with Mr. Abbas Hashemi.
• After two years, he won his first gold medal and championship in bodybuilding in the +75 kg category of the Aran va Bidgol bodybuilding competitions in 2008.
• Masoud Ghadirian won 32 gold medals in provincial competitions in Tehran Province, Qom Province, Tehran suburbs (north, south, west, and east), and North Isfahan Province between 2016 and 2021.

According to the official website of the Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the first Asian Bodybuilding Cup and Asian Championship Fitness Challenge was held in Kish Island, Iran, on March 9-12, 2022.The Iranian national team members in the +100 kg category of these competitions were as follows:

• Masoud Ghadirian
• Kambiz Samadi
• KianooshKhorramipour

Masoud Ghadirian and Kambiz Samadi won gold and silver medals in these competitions, respectively.
